Families, extended families, grandparents and caregivers are all important members of the Holy Disciples Catholic School community. Our staff relies on volunteers in all parts of the community to assist with a variety of activities throughout the year. Volunteering is a great way to meet people, to have some fun and to help our students. There are a number of opportunities throughout the year. Each event is designed to strengthen our school community through enjoyable social gatherings.
Organize or attend community gatherings like Mother-Son activity, Father-Daughter Dance, Athletic team home events, Ice Cream Social, Spirit Day, and more!
Join your child on a field trip and assist the teacher with the day’s management.
Volunteer to be a coach or assistant coach for one of our teams in Grades 5-8 - Cross-Country Running, Basketball (JV and Varsity), Varsity Baseball, Varsity Softball.
You can also volunteer to organize a developmental program for student-athletes that we currently do not offer.
Support your child’s classroom by assisting the teacher with holiday and classroom celebrations and activities.
Volunteer your talents to help our school maintain our facilities. We are always looking for assistance from technology experts, painters, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, landscapers and other trades.
Our school also welcomes high school students looking to complete service projects for church and school. Please contact the school office if you are interested in developing a service project at the school or looking for service hours.
In order to volunteer at either school campus, you must complete VIRTUS training. This training consists of a brief online course and a background check. Once you complete the online portion, please print your certificate and present to either school office. You will then need to fill out a background check and a provide $20 payment. If you have any further questions, please contact either campus office.
The HDCS Men's Club is dedicated to fostering a supportive community of fathers, grandfathers and guardians committed to nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and academic growth of our children. Through active involvement, mentorship, and collaboration with school staff and families, we strive to create a positive and enriching environment that reflects our Catholic values.
